Wolfson Children's Hospital, along with four other Baptist Health hospitals and Baptist Home Health Care, achieved recognition as a Magnet™ Health Care System, an international quality designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center that is enjoyed by less than five percent of hospitals in the country. Wolfson is one of two children's hospitals in the state and one of three in the southeast that have Magnet status, considered the "gold standard" for nursing and clinical care.
Our physicians, who are affiliated with top health care institutions such as Nemours Children's Clinic, the University of Florida and Mayo Clinic Jacksonville, are experts in their fields. Many conduct research in pediatrics that impacts medicine today and for the future.
In late 2010, Wolfson and Baptist Health will open a new patient care tower that will enable us to keep pace with the growth of our area and the increasing number of patients we serve throughout the Southeast. Every aspect of the tower is being developed with patients, families and staff in mind.
