All children need a "medical home." The Bower Lyman Center for Medically Complex Children at the University of Florida provides a medical home for children with complex medical conditions, particularly those who are dependent on medical technology.

The Center offers medically complex children a coordinated, family-focused and team-based approach to achieve their highest possible quality of life and health outcomes, and to promote family well-being.

Led by board-certified pediatrician Kelly Cronin Komatz, MD, the Center is a resource for local primary care providers and pediatric subspecialists who have patients they believe would benefit from this special care. With your referral, Dr. Komatz becomes the child's primary care physician/medical home going forward.
